Jim Carrey— actor and artist — has been making waves over the last few months with his provocative and delightfully offensive portrayal of the Trump camp. A mere two weeks after debuting an objectionable (yet, accurate!) portrait of White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, pissing off her dad enough to get himself labeled a “pathetic bully, sexist, hater, bigot & ‘Christaphobe,’” Carrey revealed his latest work: A semi-nude portrait of Donald Trump, ice cream scoop in one hand, lil pink nipple in the other.
He titled it “You Scream. I Scream. Will We Ever Stop Screaming?” and it is an undeniable masterpiece:
Dear Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery @NPG, I know it’s early but I’d like to submit this as the official portrait of our 45th President, Donald J. Trump. It’s called, ‘You Scream. I Scream. Will We Ever Stop Screaming?’ pic.twitter.com/LrCmlXXpv7

Though it is truly delectable to imagine this shockingly accurate likeness hanging next to Kehinde Wiley’s depiction of Barack Obama or Amy Sherald’s vision of Michelle Obama, it would probably look best in a gallery at the MoMa, hanging betwixt the several other semi-nude portraits Carrey has rendered of Donald Trump.
Here’s one Carrey shared following last Sunday’s 60 Minutes interview with porn star Stormy Daniels. It’s Trump bathing in sewage :
Did anyone watch 60 minutes last night? Hell of a piece about a poor kid from Greece named Giannis Antetokounmpo who’s making it big in the NBA. America still has some magic. Pity you have to wade through so much cultural sewage to find it. ;^} pic.twitter.com/H4BTPcw8bu

Here’s another, of Trump in coitus with an unidentified blonde woman (Stormy, is that you?), accentuated by a bald pate and a presidential seal over the unnameables:

Carrey has not limited his subjects to the president and his press secretary. His depiction of the Trump manchildren— skewered on the tusks of an elephant (it’s ironic because both are big game hunters)— had Trump supporters accusing him of promoting violence. (One dude even went so far as to report Carrey to the FBI, but every single one of his tweets is a retweet of someone else and all evidence points to his being a bot.)

This is fair, I guess, but also hunting big beautiful animals is a trash activity, and do not @ me.
Carrey also deployed a hellish portrait of First son-in-law The Kush, who owns 666 Fifth Avenue in New York. A symbolic detail few would be able to pass up:

Even Zuckerberg got it:
I’m dumping my @facebook stock and deleting my page because @facebook profited from Russian interference in our elections and they’re still not doing enough to stop it. I encourage all other investors who care about our future to do the same. #unfriendfacebook pic.twitter.com/KHWgZzhhmp

But it isn’t all political commentary aimed at inflaming the reactionary right and games, here. Mr. Carrey capped off the week with a contemplative, kinda confusing quote. Something to ponder as you head into your Christophobic weekend.
My soul is not contained within the limits of my body. My body is contained within the limitlessness of my soul. pic.twitter.com/6mvatrfpSo
