Eminem And Snoop Dogg Spark Collaboration Rumors After Posting Studio Photograph ?

Eminem and Snoop Dogg are back in the studio and fans are hopeful this means new music.

Snoop shared a photo of the two of them in a recording studio on his Instagram, captioned:

Detroit. Tommoro. 8 pm. Redemption of a Dogg had to c M. To get the stamp

Does this mean a new single, or maybe even a new album coming from the legendary rappers? Never say never. Snoop was featured on the track “Bitch Please II” from The Marshall Mathers LP in 2000. But, other than that, the two have never released a single together or worked on a joint album, meaning this potential new project would be their first.

Don’t get your hopes up, though.

Eminem might have been referring to the play Redemption of a Dogg in Detroit, Michigan, as the ‘Til I Collapse rapper owns several homes there.

Redemption of a Dogg is a stage play starring Snoop and Tamar Braxton, written and produced by award-winning Je’Caryous Johnson. It tells the story of a gangsta rapper and a man of God, modeled after the story of the Gin and Juice rappers own life.

Said to be urban theatre, the show is described as follows:

“Redemption of a Dogg examines the internal battle one man has between preserving his life-long legacy and losing the love of his life when he is faced with choosing fame and fortune over faith and family.”

But who knows? Maybe the two of them got a recording session done before the start of the show?

Eminem released his ninth and tenth studio albums, Revival in December 2017 and Kamikaze in August 2018, both topping the charts, and Kamikaze going platinum less than two months after being released.

Revival featured guest appearances from Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Kehlani and Alicia Keys. Considering this, and the fact that he has been making a ton of new music in the past couple of years, a new single with Snoop wouldn’t be all that surprising.

Things have changed a lot since these two entered the rap game. For example, Eminem almost appears to be…happy?

Fans seemed to take notice of his shy smile, something never seen in his earlier days.

Snoop has changed things up with his wardrobe:

Keeping things fresh, Uncle Snoop.

But, one thing that hasn’t changed is their loyal fanbase, always eager and ready for some new music.

Snoop shared a second photo that also includes artist and producer Fredwreck, and rapper, singer, songwriter and producer Denaun M. Porter – a.k.a. Mr. Porter.

Porter produced and sampled some vocals on Eminem’s first album in 1996, Infinite. He has been working closely with the famous rapper and aided in producing his most recent, 19-track album, Revival, along with Fredwreck, Dr. Dre, and Rick Rubin in 2017. Porter also worked with Snoop, lending his vocals and producing the song “My Own Way” from his album Doggumentary in 2011.

Fredwreck has been on Snoop’s record label Doggystyle Records, producing songs for Eminem, as well as other artists like Ice Cube, Lil’ Kim and 50 Cent.

These four men do have quite a history working together. Does that mean something is in store for the future? Maybe…

People are getting pretty excited about this potential collaboration:

Regardless, people seemed to love the photo of them together – but, you know, an album or at least a single wouldn’t hurt or disappoint.

Like, really, really excited:

Like, can’t-even-function-until-someone-says-something excited:

No doubt, longtime fans are delighted and nostalgic:

Nothing has been confirmed or denied from either rapper, as of right now.
