Samuel L. Jackson Slams Trump’s Attack On Spike Lee Hard With Epic ‘Plantation’ Clapback

Samuel L. Jackson released his own “fury” on President Trump when he was approached by a reporter at the Los Angeles International Airport.

The Nick Fury (of the Marvel franchise) actor was approached by paparazzi outside of the airport. One interviewer brought up Spike Lee’s acceptance speech at this past weekend’s Oscars.

The director won his first non-honorary Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for BlacKkKlansman. Lee’s look at the true story of an African-American man’s infiltration of the Ku Klux Klan in the early 1970s is now available here in multiple formats.

During his acceptance speech, Lee called on people to get “on the right side of history” and “do the right thing” in the next presidential election.

Jackson was the one to announce his friend’s Oscar win on Sunday.

After Lee’s comment, Trump did what he always does and tweeted in his own defense, despite Lee never mentioning his name.

If the shoe fits…

So, according to Trump, he has:

“done more for African American (Criminal Justice Reform, Lowest Unemployment numbers in History, Tax Cuts, etc.) than almost any other Pres!”

The comment is so outlandish that the press had to bring it up when they spotted Samuel L. Jackson at the airport.

First Jackson was approached with the idea that:

“Spike’s speech was a racist hit on the president.”

To which Jackson responded:

“He’s too sensitive.”

From there the interviewer brought up Trump’s claim that he had done so much for the African American community.

Jackson superbly shot back with:

“Yeah, he’s got a bigger plantation.”

Check out Jackson’s response for yourself.

Though his clapback sparked some outrage on the far right…

…many people are applauding the actor for unabashedly speaking up.

Moral of the story?

Don’t come for Samuel L. Jackson’s friends if you can’t handle the response.
