Bella Thorne Claps Back At Trolls Accusing Her Of Being On Drugs

Singer Bella Thorne is firing back at internet trolls who are spreading rumors that the 20-year-old musician is on drugs. Thorne is currently preparing for two new songs that are scheduled for release this Friday.

After comments posted to her Instagram on Wedndesday suggested she had a crack habit, Thorne tweeted that just because she’s tired and isn’t wearing makeup and has acne, doesn’t mean she’s on drugs.

You guys got me f*cked what what cuz I don’t wear makeup and I’m exhausted from working and I have acne, and you guys think I’m on crack?

“What the f*ck is wrong with you guys,” she later added.

Thorne tweeted again a few minutes later, this time echoing how many of us feel about the state of things. We live in nasty times.

I don’t like 2018 you guys just try and rip apart EVERY single thing you see. It’s disgusting.

“You can’t just for one second think hmm this is a real person I’m talking to.. a real f*cking human being just like yourself,” she said.

Thorne has faced down her haters before, telling Entertainment Tonight in March how her experience as a survivor of sexual abuse has shaped her self-image.

If someone says, like, ‘Why do you dress that way? Is it because something that happened when you were younger?’ And you’re like, ‘Oh, maybe it actually is. Hmm, that’s a good point.’ You know, it’s like kind of those small moments where you’re like ‘Oof, I wish that didn’t dig as deep as it did.’

Talking about her relationship with musician Mod Sun, Thorne said that it has helped her find happiness.

When I see me going toward the negative I’m like,’Bella, go toward the positive.’

In addition to her music career, Thorne is taking another stab at acting after a hiatus from her time as a Disney child star. Her movie Midnight Sun was released on March 23.
