Would your own eyes lie to you?
A family in Highland, Michigan is asking themselves that same question after their nanny cam caught what appeared to be an apparition walking through their home.
Heather Brough and Joshua Higgins shared the footage with local news.
As Detroit Channel 7 reports, the couple had already put their daughter down to sleep, when the figure walked through their house. The event took place a few weeks ago.
Joshua said,
“It was chilling. It was literally a chill down your spine, like that ‘what if’ factor – Is this what I just saw?”
The footage uses the camera’s infrared night vision. You can see the child in the crib stand up, as something moves through the house.
It’s enough to make your hair stand on end.
That’s me not sleeping tonight ???? ????

The couple discovered the footage after discovering their baby had unexplained scratches. They reviewed the footage from the camera and discovered the ghostly figure.
The ghost has apparently attacked both the couple’s daughter and Heather herself.
While the couple’s baby has a scratch on the side of her face, Heather experienced something else.
“It scares us that it could do something else. I mean, there was a morning I woke up and I felt like someone’s hands were around my neck.”
Josh’s father, Jim, believes he has an explanation.
“The gentleman that lived here originally committed suicide apparently by jumping out this window, which is one story down”
That… seems unlikely.
Ummmm, dude jumped out of the second floor of a 700 sq ft home onto grass and that’s how he killed himself?

Well the baby probably got scratched from all that crap everywhere. As for the “ghost”, it looks like a window is partially open so maybe a car drove by and the sun reflected off of it and caused a shadow to go across the room. I’m probably not explaining that properly. ????

Bullshit its a shadow and babies scratch themselves all the time

Killed him self from a 5 foot drop sure and if you killed your self in that house why would you want to live in the house

The house they live in is a little guest house on the property owned by Josh’s mother, Kris.
Kris has a different story about the previous owner of the house.
“I was told when we bought the houses 11 years ago the lady who owned the property died in the main house. It’s an old farmhouse and according to her niece … she fell down the stairs, broke her hips and laid there for a very long time before she passed away.”
“She said that the guesthouse was built for the lady’s brother who was schizophrenic.”
Whatever the story, Josh and Heather want to move out as soon as possible. In the meantime, they moved their daughter to their room.
Maybe the ghost just really wants them to clean their place?
That family is haunted by disorganization

Did these psychos literally scratch their daughter just for attention?

It is unknown exactly what is causing this image, whether it is a ghost or something else. However, Kenny Biddle, a writer for Skeptical Inquirer, gave his own analysis using information about the camera and a complete look at the footage from the Daily Mail.
The Logitech Circle 2’s night vision mode is fickle. As it states on the manufacturer’s website,
“The area you want to monitor is clear and unobstructed with no objects close to the camera and its field of view. The reflection of the night vision light from objects may cause the automatic system to over-compensate, darken the image, and reduce visibility of objects in the distance.”
Considering the camera is partially pointed toward the table, which reflects some of the light back, it’s likely the figure is just one of the parents, poorly lit by the infrared so far away.
Heather and Joshua have started a GoFundMe after receiving comments suggesting they should move to get their daughter out of that house. So far, it has raised $50.
