Fans are getting excited over the release of Aquaman later this year. The movie is scheduled to come out in December, and the studio just dropped the poster.
And it is epic:
The movie stars Jason Momoa, the chiseled actor who portrays Drogo on HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones.
The poster for Aquaman shows Momoa posing like Poseidon, holding a trident while sharks and other marine critters swim around him. The words “Home is calling” appear toward the top.
But comic buffs are an impatient lot, and as they await the premiere, some decided to make their own “improved” versions of the poster. And they’re hilarious.
What’s up with all the orcas? There is an inordinate number of orcas.
Designer: I'm working on the Aquaman poster. What sea creatures should I put on it?— Jon Risinger (@JonRisinger) July 16, 2018
Boss: I want Orcas on the poster.
D: OK, sure...but, what else should I put...

Someone gave name credits to the pictured sea creatures because all aquatic creatures deserve an identity.
I felt bad for the uncredited sea creatures on the 'Aquaman' poster so I gave them names pic.twitter.com/rIzxBpL3SE— Cameron Williams (@MrCamW) July 17, 2018
How about a title change? “Wet Dave” is wet.

Beats so heavy they drop to the bottom of the sea.
How about a Finding Nemo crossover? Watch out.
In Sydney, of course.
Momoa already looks like the king of the sea, so why not just go with it?
And wetness is the essence of beauty. Merman!
The aquatic themes continued with this take on Free Willy. Seriously though, free the orcas.
Aquaman meets Mosasaurus? It should definitely be a thing.
“Ocean Bro” takes the crown though. Pretty sure the trident doubles as a vape.
