In January 2020, barely any of America knew who Carole Baskin was.
But thanks to the Netflix documentary series Tiger King, now most of America knows more than they would like to.
One of the many mysteries surrounding Carole Baskin is the disappearance of her ex-husband Don Lewis, who vanished without a trace in 1997. Many are convinced Baskin herself killed Lewis, including Lewis’s immediate family.
In response to Baskin’s appearance on the current season of Dancing With The Stars, the family of Don Lewis aired a commercial asking anybody with information about the disappearance and death of Don Lewis.
A $100,000 reward is in order for anybody who can provide information. In the ad, the family directly asks for evidence that Carole Baskin was involved in the murder.
Not only that, they paid for the ad to air DURING Baskin’s first appearance on Dancing With The Stars.
The audacious move is getting some attention across the internet.

I am amoung the few that didn’t know this. What is wrong with ABC? Who is next? OJ? How hurtful to his family. Who is doing the common sense thinking over there? Get her OFF.

I just can’t believe that DWTS would put such a controversial person on the show. Did they check out her background at all???? Very disappointed in their choice.

How long into the show did this play? I don’t know how I missed it

In response to the popularity of Tiger King, the Hillsborough County Sheriff reopened the Don Lewis disappearance in April.

Oh my goodness. Don Lewis’ family just ran an ad on ABC before Carole Baskin’s Dancing with the Stars segment: “Don Lewis mysteriously disappeared in 1997…Do you know who did this or if Carole Baskin was involved?” pic.twitter.com/K6Ph51RAeU

However, there remains very little evidence, including circumstantial evidence, that Carole Baskin had anything to do with the disappearance of Don Lewis at all.
I’m just now hearing about Carole Baskin’s missing husband’s family buying a commercial during Dancing With the Stars to ask for information on whether or not Carole Baskins was involved.. Carole Baskins is on Dancing With The Stars
That’s phenomenal.. let’s get some answers pic.twitter.com/xugy4kGWp6

Idk what’s funnier. Carole Baskin being on Dancing With the Stars or her dead husband’s family buying an ad saying she killed that man while the show was on.

I am SCREAMING they played this commercial during dancing with the stars with Carole Baskin on it #DWTSPremiere pic.twitter.com/lkLAjCbPKl

Baskin’s score was a low 11 on the premiere episode of Dancing With The Stars, adding insult to injury when combining the advertisement.
2020 really just doesn’t stop.
