The venn diagram of flat-earthers, anti-vaxxers, and people who legitimately watch InfoWars is almost a perfect circle. Excluding that one dude who nearly broke his back trying to send himself into space by way of a DIY rocket, at least the conspiracy theory alleging the Earth is flat is not a particularly harmful one. It’s mostly just baffling, and a little sad.
But also a little funny! As Twitter user @boring_as_heck demonstrated earlier this week when he posted a picture of a comment he’d found in an online Flat Earther group. The writer of said comment not only believes it’s possible to fall off the Earth, he also seems to think NASA is just one person.
“NASA makes $50 million a day. For what exactly? I want that job.”
Great post in the Flat Earth group from this guy who thinks NASA is just one dude pic.twitter.com/63aErDNPu6

Stefan Heck’s tweet racked up over 10,000 retweets and 72,000 likes in just under 48 hours. It also elicited many a bemused response, one of them from Twitter sweetheart and cookbook author, Chrissy Teigen.
name’s nasa. robert nasa.

“Name’s nasa. robert nasa,” replied Teigen, in all probability picturing a James Bond-esque flat Earth conspiracy theory super-villain.
The other responses were pretty good too.
Makes you wonder whether “celebrities” like Geno Smith and Tila Tequila also think NASA is simply the long-winded initials of a single man.
