Lead Singer Of Rock Band Shot And Killed By Five Juveniles Ages 12 To 16

On Thursday, February 7, 24-year-old Kyle Yorlets was shot and killed in front of his home in Nashville, Tennessee, by five juveniles, aged 12-16.

Local authorities report that the five children, three girls and two boys who were 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 years old, respectively, were driving a “stolen red Chevrolet Colorado” when they came upon Yorlets outside his house in Clifton.

The youths took Yorlet’s wallet and demanded that he give them his car.

Yorlets refused to give the children his car, at which point they shot him, according to the police.

Yorlets made it back inside his house, where a roommate found him and took him to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

He was shortly thereafter pronounced dead.

That same evening, police tracked the stolen vehicle to a “West Nashville Walmart” where officers arrested all five children and confiscated two guns which they had also stolen (one of which had been used to kill Yorlets).

All five of the youths now face charges of criminal homicide.

Social media is stunned and shocked by this pointless waste of life.

Yorlets’s band, Carverton, released a statement regarding his passing on Facebook:

“On February 7, 2019 we lost our brother, best friend, and bandmate Kyle Yorlets. We are in a state of shock and are having to grasp the reality that is now in front of us. We are heartbroken. Our condolences for his family and loved ones and all the lives that he touched. We will never forget Kyle, and though he is gone too soon his legacy is here to stay.”

RIP Kyle, you will not be forgotten.
