Couple Caught Having Sex On NYC Subway Platform Not Once But Twice In One Day

Some pretty interesting things can be witnessed on New York City subway platforms.

Talented buskers serenading commuters, food vendors selling snacks for hungry riders or just the sheer quantity and variety of other human beings trying to get from one place to another within the city.

One thing that subway riders do not plan on witnessing is a couple copulating on the platform as their train pulls into the station. That’s exactly what riders at two different stations had to witness on November 22, though.

The pair were just going at it right on the platform when a passenger on the train pulling into the platform shook off the shock of the situation and decided to record them.

The silence in the video speaks for itself, a packed subway car is *never* silent, however, all that can be heard in the background is the ventilation system blowing air and the automated door closing chime.

The prerecorded “Stand clear of the closing doors, please” seems downright surreal over the background of two people doing something usually private in such a public place.

As ridiculous as the situation already is, it gets weirder.

The same couple were seen at a completely different station in lower Manhattan doing the deed earlier in the day.

Police are currently seeking information that will help them apprehend the pair so that other commuters don’t have to witness a repeat of their performance.

Many who saw the video on Twitter were less than impressed with the couple’s choice of location for their extracurricular activities.


Others simply wanted to remove the sight from their memories entirely.


Even NYPD’s Special Victims Unit contacted the Twitter user who uploaded the video, @kroft_tyler, for more information to help them catch the culprits.


Some joked about the whole thing.


NYPD are seeking information to help them apprehend these two lovebirds.

The Deputy Commissioner for Public Information released a photo of the man taken by a surveillance camera after the first incident.
