First Lady Melania Trump is on a trip to Africa and recently stopped off in Nairobi, Kenya. During a routine photo call, she drew controversy for wearing a hat. It wasn’t just any hat, it was a white pith helmet, the kind that are associated with the European military which enforced colonial rule on the continent.
