Heather Locklear Shares Powerful, Hopeful Instagram Message About Addiction And Recovery

Heather Locklear is sharing a ray of hope with all of us in a time of mourning, after losing a friend to addiction.

On Wednesday, she posted on Instagram…

The photo reads…

“Addiction is a ferocious and will try to take you down. Recovery is the best revenge. Be kind to everyone you meet, your light just might change their path. Rest In Peace Beautiful Josh. You touched my <3”

The Melrose Place star has had her own struggles with addiction and has been attending a rehabilitation facility. Seeking help when suffering is one of the hardest things an addict can do, and no matter how much time someone has, or whether or not they’ve relapsed, choosing the path of recovery is a constant act of bravery.

People were here for her message…

And many offered words of support and friendly advice…
