Trump’s Celebratory Tweet To His ‘Mexican Friends’ Did Not Go Over Well ?

President Trump hasn’t had a great relationship with Mexico. He ran on a virulently anti-immigrant agenda and frequently talks about building a wall on our southern border and forcing Mexico to pay for it, despite Mexico’s repeated response that they will do no such thing.

Trump’s tweet acknowledging Mexico’s Independence Day went over like a lead balloon tied to a cinderblock.

And just like that, memes were born.

Many people were facepalming. HARD.

While most called out his questionable friendship with our southern neighbor.

We’re guessing it’s not at all mutual.
