Woman Recounts How She Found Out Her Face Was Appearing In Hundreds Of Ads All Over The World ?

A lesson we should all know by now, but unfortunately don’t often heed, is to always read the fine print.

A South African author named Shubnum Khan was shocked to find her face used in a Canadian advertisement about immigration…

But it escalated quickly from there…

But slowly, the pieces started to come together…

Turns out her face was everywhere, like in this ad for dentistry…

This one for the removal of eye bags…

And apparently she’s been getting some cosmetic work done…

She’s also the face of some publications…

But things get weird(er) when she finds out she – or at least her face – is being falsely advertised as a real life tutor…

And as a travel expert…

Apparently, she’s the face of a dating website for Algerians in France…

And it wasn’t only Canada who was using her face for a pro-immigration campaign…

The list went on and on…

So she confronted the photographer…

Who told her she had basically zero recourse…

Luckily they came to an agreement…

And while at one point Khan found humor in it…

The joke got old, quick…

But most of all, she hopes we all learn something from her ordeal…

People were shook…

Agreed.
