With all the buzz about Lady Gaga’s performance, it’s been almost impossible not to get caught up in the hype surrounding Bradley Cooper’s remake of A Star Is Born.
And no one, it seems, has had more trouble avoiding the hype than Lady Gaga herself.
After a glowing reception at the Venice film festival, where Gaga received a standing ovation, Gaga and her co-stars took the film to Toronto, where she took part in a Q&A about the movie. At one point during the panel, co-star Lukas Nelson praised Gaga for her passion and performance.
Gaga broke down in tears as the audience gave her a standing ovation.
As the audience cheered, Gaga mouthed, “please stop,” and, “thank you,” before she stood to blow a kiss to the audience and embrace Cooper.
It was an emotional moment for the pop icon, and fans couldn’t have been happier for her.
This scene is moving. Can't wait to see

It’s been an emotional press tour for Gaga, who also teared up during her standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival.

If Gaga’s reaction is any indication of the emotion she brought to her performance, it’s no surprise that everyone who’s seen it is already predicting an Oscar.
