Grandma Gets So Confused By A Steve Harvey GIF That She Goes To A Verizon Store To Make It Stop ?

(Frederick M. Brown/@alexrkonrad)

Grandmas and GIFs don’t always mix.

Forbes reporter Alex Konrad learned this the funny way when his aunt sent a GIF of an applauding Steve Harvey to the family’s group text. Konrad’s grandma, whom they affectionately refer to as “Grammy,” was a tad confused as to why Harvey wouldn’t stop clapping.

The family tried to explain that GIFs run on a loop, but Grammy was skeptical and went to a Verizon store to end the clapping once and for all.

Soon, all of Twitter was joining in.

Verizon found Grammy’s ordeal sweet and leaped in to help.

And Konrad wasn’t stingy with the updates.

We’re glad that Grammy is in on the fun. She’ll be working at the Genius Bar in no time.
