Some Guy Just Tried To Use ‘Feral Hogs’ As A Reason Why We Need Assault Weapons—And Got Roasted Hard

It’s impossible to tell what the internet will grab onto as its next collective in-joke. Only one thing is certain: it will never be what you expect.

A twitter reply from this past Sunday, August 4, was the perfect example. Twitter user @JasonIsbell sent out this post in response to the shootings in El Paso and Dayton over the weekend:

The most popular reply to Isbell’s tweet was, by far, this gem from libertarian @WillieMcNabb:

Twitter couldn’t contain their amusement at the ridiculous reply.

In record time, the scenario was turned into a meme and spread across Twitter like wildfire.

In the blink of the eye, no matter where you looked, no matter where you were, there was only one thing to see:

30-50 wild hogs.

There may be very real threats to worry about in the world, but there was only one anyone was talking about.

References to the 30-50 hogs explored many different mediums and underwent countless evolutions.

Before long, we will have forgotten about the 30-50 feral hogs.

But not today.

Once 30+ hogs are working together, humankind stands little to no chance.

The feral hogs meme was so powerful it absorbed other prominent memes into its orbit.

The hogs have been around since the dawn of time and will likely never die.

Could Twitter finally have found the perfect meme?

From now on, the internet is purely for 30-50 feral hog related content.

Anything else will be deleted.

The hogs have spoken!

Their will be done!

You can get 30-50 feral hogs here.
