A self-described “rich kid” is catching heat on Twitter after a Snapchat story and Instagram screengrabs he made went viral.

Taylor Goldblatt, a Youtuber and Instagram influencer, shared photos of men he hired to install neon lights. The photos were captioned with derogatory and racist descriptions.

The images came to light thanks to Twitter user Freddy (@ialfreddyate) sharing the screenshots. In his tweet, Freddy makes his thoughts on Goldblatt’s comments very clear.

Freddy, who is of Mexican descent himself, gives some good advice from his father.

While the images are surprising, they don’t appear to be out of character for Goldblatt, who on his Youtube page literally describes himself as “a rich kid, spendthrift and money is my middle name.”

His videos are a lifestyle blog where he shares aspects of his daily life, showing off his brand name purchases, and playing up a self-centered persona.

That seemed to explain his actions, though it doesn’t excuse them.

Others were very surprised by the other things they found.

At the time of this article, Goldblatt’s Instagram account had been deleted, but he made a new one and has made it private, along with his Twitter account. He has disabled comments and viewing the Likes and Dislikes on his Youtube videos.

Reviewing his book on Amazon is one of the few places people have found they can be vocal about the racist comments Goldblatt made.

While Goldblatt’s social media presence shows a desperate desire to be famous, it would seem this backlash isn’t what he expected.
