Police Are Searching For A Gunman Who Held Up A Pharmacy For Condoms And Cash

This is what we call “aggressive family planning.”

An unnamed gunman held up Sunnyside Pharmacy in Queens, NY on Thursday, April 18th.

The gunman demanded two very different things from the clerk.

Watch news footage here.

“Where are the condoms? Give me the money!” he can be heard yelling at the clerk around 2 pm.

The clerk refused to comply and the suspect fired on him.  One bullet hit the clerk in the shoulder.

“This is our first incident,” said Mike, a 22-year-old technician at Sunnyside Pharmacy, to the New York Post.

“It looks very quiet here but you never know what could happen.”

The clerk was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.

He has been treated and released.

Police are still on the hunt for the robber, who remains at large.
