Large Crowd Of Far-Right German Protesters Descend On Chemnitz After Fatal Stabbing By Two Migrants

Anti-immigrant ideologies are not just gaining momentum in the United States, but the world as well, as exemplified most recently in Chemnitz, Germany.

When a local man Daniel H. was stabbed to death, news spread through the town, which is in the state of Saxon, Daniel died at the hands of undocumented migrants who were attempting to rape a woman. Despite much of the account never happening (including the rape attempt), residents of Saxon flocked to Chemnitz to participate in belligerently far-right demonstrations.

What was epochal to many in Chemnitz wasn’t that a far-right protest was occurring, but that blatant neo-Nazis attended. Despite their presence, many still marched alongside them, to the horror of many Chemnitz residents.

Swathes of immigrants were forced to hide inside their homes for their own safety. As the violence worsened, the mayor issued a state of emergency.

The sentiments from the protesters horrified many across the world.

Others assured that the violence isn’t happening without opposition.

The resurgence of blatant Naziism is alarming people across the globe. However, this alarm is informing their collective opposition. Hopefully that will be enough.
