Ohio Man Gets Smacked In The Face With A Can Of Twisted Tea After Going On Racist Tirade

The internet’s latest obsession is a video of an Ohio man being dealt a hefty dose of poetic justice with a most unlikely weapon—a can of Twisted Tea.

The video first blew up on the Public Freakout subReddit over the Christmas holiday and has since gone viral on Twitter. It shows a White man repeatedly calling a Black man the n-word in a convenience store.

When the White man dared the Black man to hit him, well… He got his wish.

A Twisted Tea was forcefully applied to the man’s forehead.

The video has been viewed millions of times.

It has spawned its own internet meme. Both the phrase “Twisted Tea” and the hashtag #TwistedTea trended on Twitter.

In the video, the unmasked White man repeatedly uses the n-word during a confrontation with the Black man waiting in line behind him.

Presumably having been asked to stop using the word, the White man then shouted his address as an invitation to the Black man to fight him.

The White man then claimed he means no disrespect, to which the Black man replied:

“Then stop saying it.”

But instead, the White man doubled down, insisting he will continue to use the word.

“I’ma say n-word all day, every day.”

“Are you kidding me? Where you from, n-word?”

The Black man replied he was from the neighborhood, which resulted in the White man ramping up his insults, calling the Black man a clown as well as the n-word.

At this point in the video, the Black man picked up his now-legendary can of Twisted Tea off the counter.

Upon seeing him do this, the White man challenged the Black man yet again to fight him.

“What? You gonna smack me with that?”

“Smack me. Smack me, n-word!”

So, the Black man did.

The Twisted Tea can exploded across the vocal bigot’s forehead as he flew backward.

The men then engaged in a tussle before ending up on the floor. The Black man told the White man while they fought:

“Call me another f’king n-word!”

The White man stumbled away as the Black man stated:

“I asked you not to call me n-word.”

Before long a new internet meme was born.

As we approach 2021, perhaps the lesson here is to not let your mouth write checks your body can’t cash.

Or maybe it’s don’t go on racist tirades in convenience stores where Twisted Tea is sold.
