Tennessee Judge Hands Out Light Sentence To Ex-Pastor Who Repeatedly Raped His 14-Year-Old Daughter For The Most Infuriating Reason

David Richards, a former pastor in Tennessee, was recently convicted of rape and incest of his teenage daughter.

These horrendous acts were committed over the course of two years, beginning when she was 14.

Despite having been found guilty of these unthinkable acts, Richards is not being held accountable.

Judge Stephen Sword gave Richards the light sentence of only 12 years in prison, rather than the prosecutors’ suggestion of 72.

Why?

Apparently to Judge Sword, the church is more important than the life of a teenage girl.

Judge Sword spoke of Richards’ time as pastor, stating that the “good work” and longtime devotion to the ministry outweighed the heinous crimes he committed.

He even has the support of over 30 parishioners, who all claim that he is a “good Christian man.”

Amber Richards, the victim involved in the case, has publicly spoken out against her father:

“I wanted to throw my body away. Not a day goes by that I don’t, in some way, think of what he did to me. I firmly believe if given the opportunity, he would victimize another girl.”

Overwhelming evidence has been presented to the court against the ex-pastor.

Forensic investigation has stated that traces of Richards’ semen was found on his daughter’s bed frame.

Yet still, both the judge and his supporters refuse to believe that Richards was capable of doing anything as evil as this.

Despite the obvious proof that Richards committed these horrible crimes, he was let off with only 12 years in prison.

He has nine felony counts, including rape, incest and sexual battery by an authority figure.

Gross.

Justice has not been served.
