RuPaul Gives ‘Drag Tots’ An Important ‘Reading’ Lesson In New Animated Series Clip ??

Drag Tots/WoW

If there’s one thing we know about the upcoming line-up of new streaming shows—it’s that drag is in, hunty!

Not only does World of Wonder Productions (the folks who brought you RuPaul’s Drag Race and Big Freedia) have an entire drag-licious line-up of shows on its freshly launched streaming service, WOW Presents Plus, it’s all set to release their first animated series featuring some of your Drag Race faves called Drag Tots.

The show, which starts today on Wow Presents Plus, features RuPaul himself as a wisecracking disembodied and mounted unicorn head named Corny, who appears to be leading the Tots in their Drag studies.

The small but sassy Drag Tots cast includes voices by Bianca Del Rio (Dina Saur), Adore Delano (Roxy Moron), Latrice Royale (Lady Liber T), Valentina (Arugula) and Detox (Donatella Mewhattodoo).

In the latest sneak peek clip making the rounds, the girls are getting a lesson in reading—no, NOT books—YOU, honey.

The cherubic queens were first unveiled in their trailer for the show as the answer to a world “on the brink of chaos” one where President Trump wants to build a wall. (*Well, it IS pretty cray.)

But fans seemed confused…

Is this a kids’ show or for adults?

Redditors seemed solid on the idea that the show is intended for adults:

Yeah! Who says animation’s just for kids? (Though we could find no formal confirmation of WoWP+‘s target audience.)

And Drag Tots is not the only newly minted animated drag show—streaming giant, Netflix has a new series called Super Drags, coming soon, featuring a cast of drag queen superheroes.

According to Netflix during the day the Super Drags:

…work in a department store and deal with their uptight bitchy boss. By night, they tighten up their corsets and transform into the baddest SUPER DRAGS in town, ready to combat shade and rescue the world’s glitter from the evil villains.

Drag Tots premieres June 28 on the WOW Presents Plus which offers monthly subscriptions and runs $3.99.

Other shows making their debut this summer during its Sickening Summer Series include Iconic with Brad Goreski, Miz Cracker’s JewTorials, and a RuPaul’s Drag Race-focused docuseries called Follow Me starring Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, Aja, and Gia Gunn.
