The full music video for Ariana Grande’s song “Thank U, Next” has been released on YouTube and it is filled with rom-com nostalgia. It references classic hits like Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, and 13 Going On 30.

The video is a success, reaching millions of views in a day. It’s so big that the original stars of the referenced movies have been commenting with their approval.

Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo are obviously enjoying the callback.

Jonathan Bennett actually reprised his role from Mean Girls in the video.

“Thank U, Next” has been one of Grande’s most successful songs, coming after her string of public breakups. The song is empowering, showing the positives that can be taken away when someone moves from a partner to an ex.

The video has broken records left and right, including the 24-hour total views record, with over 50 million plays. This beat the former record of 45 million held Korean boy band BTS.

It’s on track for hundreds of millions views in the next week.

The song was released On November 3 and was the first song by a female artist to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 since 2015’s “Hello” by Adele.
