Timothée Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name) and Steve Carell (Crazy, Stupid, Love & Little Miss Sunshine) are already generating Oscar buzz for their new film Beautiful Boy, and that’s only for the trailer.

The film is based on duel memoirs from real-life father and son David Sheff and Nic Sheff, revolving around Nic’s descent into drug and alcohol addiction and the father who didn’t know how to help him.

The trailer for the film released from was launched on Wednesday and already people are reaching for the tissues.

All the feels came pouring out.

Many were touched because they understand the struggles of dealing with addiction for both the addict and their loved ones.

The preview has inspired new interest in the books.

Nic Sheff weighed in on how it felt to be portrayed in a film.

People appreciate Nic’s honesty in telling his story.

We hope the film and books will help those in need of help.
