In a very scary situation, a man in Melbourne, Australia, stabbed three people in broad daylight killing one of them. The unidentified man came out of a pickup truck that was on fire.
When police showed up on the scene, responding to the vehicle fire, the man began attacking them.
While many people gathered around to record the attacks on their phones, one man stepped forward and tried to help police, He repeatedly pushed a shopping cart—called a trolley in Australia—between the knife-wielding man and the officers.
Eventually the man, who the police are calling a terrorist, was shot. He later died from his injuries.
Now the internet wants to know who the good Samaritan was with the grocery cart.

#trolleyman went IN! Fearless. Unrelenting. Respects to Trolley Man and also to those very calm cops who remained very professional and surely prevented more people from being injured ????????

I watched the witness videos of the knife attacker in Melbourne. I don't understand how people can just stand nearby filming on their phones. I would be running away! https://t.co/UyGRnWIm60

Other people stood around filming the Melbourne attacker but one dude shoved a shopping trolley in his path to slow him down as police pursued. A new superhero is born #Trolleyman #MelbourneAttack #Melbourne #Superhero #SaturdayThoughts #HoldMyBeer

I get it’s a factor of the times we live in but all the people standing around filming today’s incident in Melbourne are idiots.
They’re making the cops job infinitely harder and may result in them being unable to discharge their weapon even though the situation called for it.

The two police officers and trolley-guy should get commendations for their bravery, the wall of people jostling for position filming on their phones need to take a long look at themselves. #Melbourne #BourkeStreet #Australia

We hope that the man attempting to help is recognized for his heroics.
