Charlize Theron Tapped To Play Megyn Kelly In New Film About Fox News

Mad Max: Fury Road star, Charlize Theron, is reportedly on board to play former Fox News anchor, Megyn Kelly, in an as-yet-untitled movie about alleged sexual predator and former Fox News chief Roger Ailes.

Kelly’s 2016 memoir, Settle for More, alleged that Ailes:

…made sexual comments to me, offers of professional advancement in exchange for sexual favors, and, eventually, physical attempts to be with me — every single one of which I rejected.

Ailes denied the allegations at the time.

The picture will reportedly be an “…ensemble piece” financed by Annapurna Pictures and is set to be written by The Big Short‘s Charles Randolph and directed by Jay Roach (Game Change).

According to Entertainment Weekly Theron will also be a producer on the project.
