As the nation reels from yet another new Trump administration revelation, one man has made it his mission to shine a searchlight of satire into every crevice of the swamp we call Trumpland.
Actor, comedian, and visual artist Jim Carrey's colorful brand of inflammatory artistry seems to get people talking. His latest work is a portrait of President Donald Trump and his physician, which he revealed yesterday on Twitter.
The response to Carrey's portrayal of the President and his former longtime physician, Dr. Harold Bornstein, was swift:
Presumably inspired by Bornstein's recent admission that he did not write the President's now infamous health status letter, Carrey's piece is a scathing commentary on the kind of sycophants with whom Trump surrounds himself.
Bornstein told CNN:
He dictated that whole letter. I didn’t write that letter.
Bornstein also alleges that Trump's longtime bodyguard, Keith Schiller, and Trump Organization lawyer Alan Garten, among others, raided the physician's office, confiscating files and photographs pertaining to the President.
Political bombshells aside, many wondered what Carrey plans to do with all this sardonic portraiture:
Others offered commentary of their own:
And a little constructive criticism…
