Victor Van Vickery II, of Delray Beach, Florida was arrested at his place of employment in Boca Raton last week and charged with manslaughter relating to the 2018 death of a man. Vickery alleged the man watched he and his girlfriend through her bedroom window, causing a confrontation and the man’s death.
Vickery told authorities he heard a scratching sound on his girlfriend’s bedroom window while the two were having sex. He said he immediately ran outside to see what the noise was.
Police records indicate that when Vickery’s girlfriend called 911 on July 2nd, 2018, she told dispatchers she made multiple previous police reports about someone coming onto the fenced property and watching through her windows.

The unidentified woman also told dispatchers her boyfriend had found the lurker outside and was currently fighting with him. She claimed Vickery was trying to restrain him until police arrived.
Vickery also told police he discovered the deceased, Asaad Akar, standing outside the window in the fenced yard with his genitals exposed.
So he is god who can judge and take a life, for what was worth only a thrashing? People need to go back to Church to learn they are NOT God.

He said Akar lunged at him.
Vickery said this started the altercation. Vickery was not wearing any clothes at the time and said he only began to kick and punch Akar out of fear for his own safety.
When police arrived, Vickery’s foot was swollen and bruised. He also had blood on other parts of his body.
Akar was dead.
That should not have been a death sentence. He was creepy but was hurting no one! A physical attack was totally uncalled for!

Akar lived about a 2 minute walk from Vickery’s girlfriend’s residence. He had a history of complaints against him for “peeping into windows” in the neighborhood.
The police report said that he also had “a previous history of arrests for doing the same,” but no charges for indecent exposure or violence as Vickery claimed.
Authorities have not disclosed why they waited over a year to charge Vickery for the 2018 death of Akers. But the unidentified woman Vickery was dating at the time of the incident recanted her original police statement a year later in July of 2019.
Unless the guy was casing the joint and/or planning a home invasion. Serial killers have done this before.
I dont think killing someone is a very good idea but they shoul run the dead guys DNA against rape kits. erinbliss (@erinbliss) October 20, 2019
In that original statement, she said she had also hit Akar when they discovered him in her yard and shared some of the blame for his death. She also reported Vickery told her to tell the police he hit Akar with a shovel.
But in August 2018around a month after Vickery killed Akarhe was arrested for raping a woman.

Redacted court records only identify Vickery’s victim as his former girlfriend. Authorities did not make it clear whether the victim of Vickery’s 2018 sexual assault was the same woman who corroborated his story to police a month prior.

The rape case against Vickery still remains open.
Vickery is currently facing both sets of charges. His bail for the manslaughter charge was set at $100,000 and he is currently being held at a jail in Broward County.
What a vile country we live in? Not every offense requires death. Jesus!!! Something is lacking in our collective soul.

What exactly happened that night in July 2018 is known only to Vickery and the woman he was with that night.
Regardless of who attacked who and why, taking the law into your own hands is never a good idea.
